Current Food Prices in Yogyakarta Special Region: Rice Prices Up, Chili Prices Down

The prices of several food commodities in Yogyakarta, Special Region of Yogyakarta, today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) price panel on Friday (30/8/2024) at 11:38 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 9 commodities increased in price and 11 commodities decreased.

Commodities that increased in price include skipjack tuna, premium rice, Indian mackerel, chicken eggs, and dry soybeans (import).

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as red chilies, broiler chicken, pure beef, fine iodized salt, and shallots decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

The price of milkfish increased the most by Rp1,470 (3.83%) to Rp39,900 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of red chilies decreased the most by Rp1,650 (5.47%) to Rp28,530 per kg.
