Food Prices in Central Java, Saturday (November 2nd): What's the Price of Chili Peppers?

The prices of several food commodities in Central Java today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on food price panel data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) on Saturday (2/11/2024) at 16.04 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 9 commodities increased and 12 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include red chilies, broiler chicken, shallots, milkfish, and simple packaged cooking oil.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as iodized fine salt, pure beef, premium rice, SPHP rice, and skipjack tuna decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Shallots experienced the highest price increase, up by Rp770 (2.64%) to Rp29,910 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of Indian mackerel saw the sharpest decrease, down by Rp460 (1.46%) to Rp31,080 per kg.
