The price of medium-sized garlic in Modern Markets across East Kalimantan Province remained at Rp70,000 per kg over the past month.

Latest information from the National Strategic Food Price Information Center panel shows that the daily price of medium-sized garlic in modern markets in East Kalimantan province is recorded at Rp70,000 per kg. This price is unchanged compared to the previous day, as is the price trend over the past week.

Compared to the price 30 days ago, the daily price of medium-sized garlic in modern markets has not changed from the previous record of Rp70,000 per kg.

Meanwhile, the daily price of medium-sized garlic in modern markets in East Kalimantan over the past three months has decreased by 9.62%. According to historical food price records on the PIHPS price panel, the daily price of medium-sized garlic in modern markets in East Kalimantan province was traded at Rp77,450 per kg.

The record high for the daily price of medium-sized garlic in modern markets in this province was previously recorded in January 2024 with an increase of 61.24%, and the lowest decrease was recorded in June 2017 with a decrease of -28.78%.

The PIHPS monitoring shows that the prices of nine basic commodities (sembako) today in East Kalimantan recorded six commodities decreasing and 14 others increasing. Basic commodities with price decreases are Grade 1 Beef, Rice, Chicken Eggs, Grade 2 Beef, Beef, and Fresh Chicken Eggs.
