Latest Food Prices in Banten: Oil and Rice Prices Increase

Food prices in Banten today are observed to be higher than yesterday.

Based on food price panel data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) on Saturday, March 29, 2025, at 13:51 WIB, out of 25 commodities, 14 commodities increased and 10 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include red chilies, broiler chicken, garlic bulbs, dry soybean (import), and premium rice.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as Indian mackerel, SPHP rice, packaged cooking oil, table salt, and broiler eggs decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

The price of corn at the farmer level saw the highest increase, jumping Rp1,267 (17.12%) to Rp8,667 per kg. The price of SPHP rice, on the other hand, experienced the sharpest decrease, falling Rp12,333 (100.0%) to Rp0 per kg.
