Food Prices in Lampung Today: Salt Prices Up, Chili Prices Down

The prices of several food commodities in Lampung today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Thursday (August 21, 2025) at 1:36 PM WIB, out of 23 commodities, 12 commodities increased and 11 commodities decreased.

Commodities with increased prices include medium rice, dried soybeans (imported), consumption salt, Minyakita cooking oil, and broiler chicken meat.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as large red chili, shallots, red cayenne pepper, curly red chili, and corn at the farmer level decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Imported dried soybeans saw the highest increase of Rp288 (2.79%) to Rp10,613 per kg. Meanwhile, red cayenne pepper prices experienced the deepest drop of Rp1,734 (4.2%) to Rp39,576 per kg.

9. Skipjack Tuna: Rp29.400 per kg (up 1.25%)
10. Broiler Chicken Eggs: Rp27.843 per kg (down 0.22%)
