Today's Food Prices in Banten February 20: Rice and Bird's Eye Chili Prices Rise

Several food commodity prices in Banten today were observed to increase compared to yesterday.

Quoting data from the Ministry of Trade's Basic Needs Market Monitoring System (SP2KP Kemendag) on Friday (February 20, 2026) at 15:46 WIB, out of 16 commodities, 6 commodities increased and 2 decreased.

Commodities with price increases are large red chili, red bird's eye chili, bulk palm cooking oil, curly red chili, and premium rice.

Meanwhile, prices of some commodities such as wheat flour and Minyakita decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red bird's eye chili price jumped the highest by Rp7,500 (7.95%) to Rp101,875 per kg. Wheat flour price decreased the most by Rp187 (1.53%) to Rp12,021 per kg.
