Rupiah Exchange Rate Closes at Rp 14,415 per US Dollar Today (Monday, August 23)

The Indonesian Rupiah (IDR) exchange rate against the US dollar (USD) on Monday, August 23, 2021, was Rp 14,415 per USD, strengthening by -0.34 percent compared to the previous day. This is almost unchanged from its position 13 days ago. The current condition shows fluctuating movement towards its strongest position in the last few days. Previously, the highest Rupiah exchange rate against the US dollar was recorded on Friday, August 20, 2021, at Rp 14,464 per USD. The Rupiah exchange rate against the US dollar traded stronger, changing by Rp -49 per USD compared to the previous day.

Over the past week, the Rupiah exchange rate against the US dollar moved within a range of Rp 81 per USD. The highest was traded at Rp 14,464 per USD, and the lowest at Rp 14,383 per USD.

For the past month, the Rupiah exchange rate against the US dollar traded with a wider price difference of Rp 230 per USD, with the lowest value being Rp 14,324 per USD.

For the past month, the Rupiah's performance was most negatively impacted against the Japanese Yen, followed by the Swiss Franc, Vietnamese Dong, Papua New Guinean Kina, and US Dollar.
