Current Food Prices in Bali: Onion Prices Rise

The prices of several food commodities in Bali today are observed to be higher than yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Sunday (29/12/2024) at 10:56 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 6 commodities increased in price and 3 commodities decreased.

Commodities that increased in price are: curly red chilies, shallots, mackerel, bulk wheat flour, and shallots.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as skipjack tuna, farmer-level corn, and simple packaged cooking oil decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Curly red chilies saw the highest price increase, jumping Rp1,230 (3.38%) to Rp37,600 per kg. Farmer-level corn experienced the sharpest price drop, decreasing by Rp220 (3.73%) to Rp5,680 per kg.
