Latest Food Prices in Banten: Sugar and Chicken Prices Increase

The prices of several food commodities in Banten today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on food price panel data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) on Tuesday (24/12/2024) at 12:21 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 16 commodities increased in price and 4 commodities decreased.

Commodities that increased in price include curly red chilies, simple packaged cooking oil, Indian mackerel, fine iodized salt, and red chili peppers.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as medium rice, packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), premium rice, and pure beef decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

The price of corn at the farmer level surged the highest, by Rp2,530 (34.1%) to Rp9,950 per kg. The price of medium rice decreased the most, by Rp160 (1.24%) to Rp12,720 per kg.
