Latest Food Prices in DKI Jakarta: Beef Prices Up, Chili Prices Down (Saturday, March 9, 2024)

The prices of several food commodities in Jakarta today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Saturday (9/3/2024) at 13.11 WIB, out of 19 commodities, 4 commodities increased and 6 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price are shallots, medium-grain rice, chicken eggs, and pure beef.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as mackerel, curly red chilies, bulk cooking oil, red chilies, and milkfish decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Pure beef experienced the highest price increase of Rp1,610 (1.16%) to Rp140,700 per kg. Red chilies saw the lowest price decrease of Rp4,150 (4.77%) to Rp82,940 per kg.
