Latest Jambi Region Food Prices: Egg Prices Up, Chili Prices Down

The price of several food commodities in Jambi today is observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Tuesday (1/10/2024) at 09.35 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 8 commodities increased and 9 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include garlic bulbs, pure beef, chicken eggs, dry soybean (import), and skipjack tuna.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as bulk cooking oil, medium rice, shallots, mackerel, and iodized fine salt decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Skipjack tuna prices surged the highest by Rp790 (2.77%) to Rp29,260 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of red chilies decreased the most by Rp1,060 (4.76%) to Rp21,210 per kg.
