Daily Fresh Chicken Egg Prices at Traditional Markets, February 2024

Based on data from the National Strategic Food Price Information Center dashboard at 12:44 WIB, the daily price of fresh chicken eggs in traditional markets in West Sulawesi Province has not changed compared to the previous day or the past week.

However, compared to the price over the past month, the daily price of fresh chicken eggs in traditional markets has increased from the previous record of Rp24,500.

Meanwhile, the daily price of fresh chicken eggs in traditional markets in West Sulawesi over the past three months has increased by 0.57% from the previous trading price of Rp26,250.

The record high for the daily price of fresh chicken eggs in traditional markets in this province was previously recorded in October 2017 with an increase of 28.52%, and the lowest decrease was recorded in September 2017 with a decrease of -22.19%.

According to PIHPS monitoring, the prices of nine basic commodities (sembako) today in West Sulawesi show four commodities decreased and 14 others increased. The basic commodities with price decreases are: Curly Red Chili, Medium-Sized Red Onion, Garlic, and Medium-Sized Garlic.

The following are the prices of nine basic commodities monitored by PIHPS today compared to price changes over the past month in West Sulawesi Province:

2. Chili Peppers per kg: Rp55,000/kg (up 37.5%)
3. Premium Quality Granulated Sugar per kg: Rp18,000/kg (unchanged)
4. Grade I Low-Quality Rice per kg: Rp12,700/kg (unchanged)
5. Rice per kg: Rp13,500/kg (up 0.75%)
6. Branded Packaged Cooking Oil 1 per kg: Rp23,000/kg (unchanged)
7. Cooking Oil per kg: Rp22,400/kg (unchanged)
8. Green Chili Peppers per kg: Rp55,000/kg (up 10%)
9. Red Chili Peppers per kg: Rp55,000/kg (up 10%)
10. Chicken Meat per kg: Rp30,000/kg (up 6.76%)
11. Curly Red Chili per kg: Rp30,000/kg (down 4.76%)
