Jakarta, Indonesia Food Price Update Today: Wheat Flour Prices Up, Fish Prices Down (Thursday, December 7, 2023)

The prices of several food commodities in DKI Jakarta today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) price panel on Thursday (7/12/2023) at 10:13 WIB, out of 19 commodities, 8 commodities increased and 11 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include bulk cooking oil, shallots, red chilies, garlic bulbs, and bulk wheat flour.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as granulated sugar, simple packaged cooking oil, skipjack tuna, red chilies, and chicken eggs decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Bulk wheat flour experienced the highest price increase of Rp1,210 (12.42%) to Rp10,950 per kg. Skipjack tuna experienced the lowest price decrease of Rp4,620 (12.27%) to Rp33,020 per kg.

6. Shallots: Rp37,610 per kg (up 0.67%)
7. Milkfish: Rp36,940 per kg (down 11.39%)
8. Mackerel: Rp34,170 per kg (down 7.77%)
9. Skipjack Tuna: Rp33,020 per kg (down 12.27%)
10. Chicken Eggs: Rp27,320 per kg (down 0.98%)
