Price of Grade 1 Beef in Modern Markets for the Period April 2025-2026

Based on the latest information from the National Strategic Food Information Center (PIHPS) panel, the daily price of Grade 1 beef in modern markets in West Sumatra province is recorded at Rp158,95 thousand per kg. This price has not changed compared to the previous day and also in the last week.

Compared to the price 30 days ago, the development of the daily Grade 1 beef price in modern markets has not changed from the previously recorded Rp158,95 thousand per kg.

Meanwhile, the daily price of Grade 1 beef in modern markets in West Sumatra over the last three months has seen a 0% decrease. According to historical food price records from the PIHPS price panel, the daily price of Grade 1 beef in modern markets in West Sumatra province is traded at Rp158,95 thousand per kg.

The record increase in the daily price of Grade 1 beef in modern markets in this province was previously recorded in July 2022 with an increase of 18.06%, and the lowest decrease was recorded in August 2017 with a decrease of -22.81%.

According to PIHPS monitoring, the prices of nine staple foods (sembako) today in West Sumatra show that three commodities have decreased and 18 others have increased. The staple foods with price decreases are Super II Quality Rice, Premium Quality Granulated Sugar, and Super I Quality Rice.
