Central Java Food Price Update Today: Chili Prices Up, Onion Prices Down (Monday, February 12, 2024)

The prices of several food commodities in Central Java today are observed to be higher than yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Monday (12/2/2024) at 11:10 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 15 commodities increased in price and 5 commodities decreased.

Commodities that increased in price include simple packaged cooking oil, iodized fine salt, pure beef, premium rice, and bulk wheat flour.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as shallots, skipjack tuna, granulated sugar, bulk cooking oil, and mackerel decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red chili prices increased the most by Rp5,860 (14.58%) to Rp46,040 per kg. Meanwhile, shallot prices decreased the least by Rp500 (1.88%) to Rp26,110 per kg.
