East Java Food Prices Today: Cooking Oil Prices Up, Salt Prices Down

The prices of several food commodities in East Java today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Tuesday (30/7/2024) at 09.15 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 7 commodities increased and 13 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price are SHP rice, premium rice, garlic bulbs, dry soybean (import), and packaged wheat flour (non-bulk).

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as broiler chicken, fine iodized salt, skipjack tuna, red chilies, and bulk wheat flour decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Bulk cooking oil experienced the highest price increase of Rp240 (1.52%) to Rp16,070 per liter. Fine iodized salt had the largest price decrease of Rp700 (7.5%) to Rp8,630 per kg.

7. Milkfish: Rp30,770 per kg (down 6.3%)
8. Skipjack Tuna: Rp29,660 per kg (down 1.53%)
9. Chicken Eggs: Rp26,390 per kg (down 0.42%)
10. Red Onion: Rp19,250 per kg (down 7.27%)
11. Simple Packaged Cooking Oil: Rp16,540 per liter (up 0.18%)
