Today's Food Prices in North Kalimantan: Beef, Onion, and Sugar Prices Increase

The prices of several food commodities in North Kalimantan today are observed to be higher than yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) price panel on Monday (7/10/2024) at 08.32 WIB, out of 19 commodities, 11 commodities increased and 8 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include granulated sugar, broiler chicken, shallots, pure beef, and packaged wheat flour (non-bulk).

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as simple packaged cooking oil, red chilies, iodized fine salt, dry soybean (import), and mackerel have decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Skipjack tuna prices surged the highest at Rp4,430 (14.16%) to Rp35,710 per kg. Mackerel prices, however, decreased the most by Rp7,060 (19.05%) to Rp30,000 per kg.

The following is a complete list of the prices of 19 food commodities in North Kalimantan according to Bapanas on October 7, 2024, at 08.32 WIB.

3. Curly Red Chilies: Rp65,190 per kg (up 1.15%)
4. Broiler Chicken: Rp48,500 per kg (up 2.3%)
5. Garlic Bulb: Rp41,760 per kg (down 3.62%)
6. Shallots: Rp37,470 per kg (up 5.34%)
7. Chicken Eggs: Rp35,800 per kg (up 3.35%)
8. Skipjack Tuna: Rp35,710 per kg (up 14.16%)
9. Mackerel: Rp30,000 per kg (down 19.05%)
10. Milkfish: Rp21,210 per kg (down 13.46%)
11. Simple Packaged Cooking Oil: Rp19,000 per liter (down 1.45%)
12. Granulated Sugar: Rp18,490 per kg (up 5.36%)
13. Premium Rice: Rp18,000 per kg (up 3.75%)
