Today's Food Prices in West Java: Onion Prices Up, Chili Prices Down

The prices of several food commodities in West Java today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Thursday (16/5/2024) at 17.47 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 1 commodity increased and 19 commodities decreased in price.

The only commodity that increased in price was shallot garlic.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as granulated sugar, simple packaged cooking oil, bulk wheat flour, iodized fine salt, and skipjack tuna have decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Shallot garlic experienced the highest price increase, up by Rp110 (0.27%) to Rp40,860 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of red chilies saw the lowest decrease, down Rp970 (2.32%) to Rp40,870 per kg.
