Jakarta, DKI Region Food Prices, Week of April 28th: Onion Prices Rise, Chili Prices Fall

The prices of several food commodities in DKI Jakarta today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Sunday (28/4/2024) at 14.25 WIB, out of 19 commodities, 10 commodities increased and 5 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include milkfish, packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), shallots, granulated sugar, and premium rice.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as red chili peppers, shallots, mackerel, curly red chilies, and skipjack tuna decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Shallots saw the highest price increase of Rp1,850 (2.59%) to Rp73,230 per kg. Mackerel saw the lowest price decrease of Rp2,490 (6.55%) to Rp35,520 per kg.
