Today's Food Price List in Central Java: Onion and Chicken Prices Increase (Tuesday, January 16, 2024)

The prices of several food commodities in Central Java today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Tuesday (16/1/2024) at 10.07 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 15 commodities increased and 5 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include medium-grain rice, chicken eggs, mackerel, milkfish, and skipjack tuna.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as dry soybean (import), red chili peppers, pure beef, curly red chili peppers, and shallots decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Iodized fine salt saw the highest price increase of Rp1,730 (15.56%) to Rp12,850 per kg. Shallots saw the lowest price decrease of Rp1,270 (3.94%) to Rp30,950 per kg.
