Today's Food Prices in West Java, How Much is Red Chili?

The prices of several food commodities in West Java today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Wednesday (16/4/2025) at 17:18 WIB, out of 24 commodities, 9 commodities increased and 13 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include chicken eggs, Minyakita, dry soybean (import), shallots, and bulk cooking oil.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as bulk wheat flour, red chili peppers, skipjack tuna, large red chilies, and garlic cloves decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Import dry soybean experienced the highest price increase of Rp39 (0.4%) to Rp9,759 per kg. Meanwhile, curly red chili prices decreased the most sharply by Rp1,261 (2.35%) to Rp52,437 per kg.
