Today's Food Prices in South Sumatra on March 10: Oil, Chicken Meat and Red Chili Prices Drop

Some food commodity prices in South Sumatra today were observed to drop compared to yesterday.

Quoting data from the Ministry of Trade's Basic Needs Market Monitoring System (SP2KP Kemendag) on Tuesday (March 10, 2026) at 17:13 WIB, out of 16 commodities, 3 commodities increased and 6 commodities decreased in price.

The commodities that increased in price are beef hindquarter, red cayenne pepper, and curly red chili.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as medium rice, Minyakita, large red chili, Honan garlic, and broiler chicken meat decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red cayenne pepper price jumped the highest by Rp1,444 (2.48%) to Rp59,633 per kg. Meanwhile, large red chili price dropped the deepest by Rp244 (0.74%) to Rp32,678 per kg.

5. Shallots: Rp35,804 per kg (down 0.27%)
6. Honan Garlic: Rp33,563 per kg (down 0.37%)
