Beef Prices in West Kalimantan Are the Highest in Indonesia (Tuesday, May 10, 2022)

The National Strategic Food Price Information Center recorded an average daily price of beef (per kg) in modern markets in several provinces reaching Rp 169,780 per kg, data as of Tuesday, May 10, 2022. Overall, the average this week increased compared to the previous week's average of Rp 166,790 per kg.

The daily price of beef in modern markets in West Kalimantan was the most expensive in Indonesia, with a selling price of Rp 262,950 per kg. Compared to a month ago, the price of beef in this province has not changed. The highest selling price ever recorded in this region is Rp 262,950 per kg.

Meanwhile, in modern markets in Central Sulawesi, beef was sold at Rp 188,600 per kg, making it the second most expensive in the country.

Then, in third place, the price of beef in North Maluku was Rp 174,900 per kg, West Papua Rp 173,250 per kg, and East Kalimantan Rp 172,750 per kg.

Meanwhile, there are eight provinces with beef sales prices below the national average. The three provinces with the lowest beef selling prices are North Sulawesi, Bangka Belitung Islands, and West Sumatra.
