Jambi Region Food Prices, Monday, August 5th: What's the Price of Fish?

The prices of several food commodities in Jambi today are observed to be higher than yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) price panel on Monday (5/8/2024) at 10:53 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 12 commodities increased and 8 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include pure beef, curly red chilies, dry soybean (import), chicken eggs, and simple packaged cooking oil.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as bulk cooking oil, premium rice, milkfish, granulated sugar, and iodized fine salt decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Curly red chilies saw the highest price increase of Rp2,300 (5.58%), reaching Rp43,510 per kg. Milkfish experienced the largest price drop of Rp1,350 (4.34%), reaching Rp29,730 per kg.
