Food Prices in DKI Jakarta Wednesday (24/9): Onion Prices Up, Chili Prices Down

Prices of several food commodities in DKI Jakarta today were observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

According to data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Wednesday (24/9/2025) at 13:55 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 10 increased and 10 decreased.

Commodities with price increases include garlic bulbs, consumption sugar, Minyakita cooking oil, broiler chicken meat, and premium rice.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as curly red chili, consumption salt, milkfish, packaged cooking oil, and red bird''s eye chili decreased compared to yesterday''s prices.

Garlic bulbs saw the highest price increase of Rp1,444 (3.65%) to Rp41,059 per kg. Meanwhile, red bird''s eye chili prices dropped the sharpest by Rp3,710 (6.65%) to Rp52,059 per kg.

6. Shallots: Rp44,412 per kg (down 1.31%)
7. Skipjack Tuna: Rp44,063 per kg (down 2.08%)
8. Mackerel: Rp42,250 per kg (up 1.4%)
9. Garlic Bulbs: Rp41,059 per kg (up 3.65%)
