Today's Food Prices in DKI Jakarta: Chicken, Oil, and Rice Prices Increase

The prices of several food commodities in DKI Jakarta today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Monday (15/7/2024) at 13.43 WIB, out of 19 commodities, 11 commodities increased and 6 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include milkfish, pure beef, medium-grain rice, garlic cloves, and skipjack tuna.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as curly red chilies, iodized fine salt, bulk wheat flour, mackerel, and shallots decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Premium rice saw the highest price increase, jumping Rp910 (5.81%) to Rp16,570 per kg. Iodized fine salt experienced the sharpest price drop, falling Rp1,340 (11.16%) to Rp10,670 per kg.
