Today's Food Price List in Banten: Rice and Salt Prices Increase (Tuesday, January 16, 2024)

The prices of several food commodities in Banten today are observed to be higher than yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) price panel on Tuesday (16/1/2024) at 11:12 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 11 commodities increased in price and 9 commodities decreased.

Commodities that increased in price include chicken eggs, skipjack tuna, dry soybeans (import), fine iodized salt, and farmer-level corn.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as granulated sugar, shallots, simple packaged cooking oil, bulk wheat flour, and pure beef decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Skipjack tuna prices saw the highest increase, jumping by Rp750 (2.34%) to Rp32,790 per kg. Meanwhile, red chili prices saw the lowest decrease, dropping by Rp3,480 (5.98%) to Rp54,730 per kg.
