Latest Food Prices in Central Java, How Much is Onion?

The prices of several food commodities in Central Java today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Thursday (9/5/2024) at 15.01 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 10 commodities increased and 10 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include bulk wheat flour, milkfish, chicken eggs, garlic bulbs, and shallots.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as bulk cooking oil, granulated sugar, Indian mackerel, dry soybean (import), and red chili peppers decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Iodized fine salt experienced the highest price increase of Rp360 (3.08%) to Rp12,030 per kg. Meanwhile, Indian mackerel experienced the lowest price decrease of Rp1,780 (5.66%) to Rp29,650 per kg.
