Latest Bali Region Food Prices: Salt Prices Up, Chili Prices Down

The prices of several food commodities in Bali today are observed to be higher than yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) price panel on Saturday, July 13, 2024, at 3:54 PM WIB, out of 21 commodities, 9 commodities increased and 9 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include dried soybean (import), medium rice, curly red chilies, garlic bulbs, and simple packaged cooking oil.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as pure beef, granulated sugar, chicken eggs, packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), and bulk wheat flour decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Iodized fine salt experienced the highest price increase, up by Rp370 (3.15%) to Rp12,130 per kg. Skipjack tuna experienced the largest price decrease, down by Rp710 (2.66%) to Rp26,020 per kg.
