Bali Food Price Update Today: Onion Prices Up, Chili Prices Down (Friday, March 29, 2024)

The prices of several food commodities in Bali today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) price panel on Friday (29/3/2024) at 09.36 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 7 commodities increased and 13 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include bulk wheat flour, farmer-level corn, fine iodized salt, Indian mackerel, and shallots.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as chicken eggs, granulated sugar, dry soybean (import), pure beef, and red onions decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Farmer-level corn experienced the highest price increase of Rp1,470 (19.44%) to Rp9,030 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of red chilies decreased the most, by Rp3,710 (8.87%) to Rp38,130 per kg.

8. Chicken Eggs: Rp29,240 per kg (down 1.42%)
9. Red Onions: Rp28,520 per kg (down 1.82%)
10. Skipjack Tuna: Rp24,750 per kg (up 2.06%)
