Current Food Prices in Bali: Onion and Chili Prices Rise

The prices of several food commodities in Bali today are observed to be higher compared to yesterday.

Based on the national food agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Tuesday (24/12/2024) at 10:56 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 11 commodities increased in price and 10 commodities decreased.

Commodities that increased in price include mackerel, dry soybean (import), packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), red chilies, and shallots.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as chicken eggs, granulated sugar, premium rice, skipjack tuna, and milkfish decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Bulk cooking oil experienced the highest price increase of Rp2,700 (16.61%) to Rp18,960 per liter. Milkfish prices saw the sharpest decrease of Rp1,410 (3.82%) to Rp35,540 per kg.
