Price of Medium I Quality Rice in Traditional Markets for the March 2025-2026 Period

Quoting from the National Strategic Food Information Center dashboard at 16:44 WIB, the daily price of Medium I quality rice in traditional markets in the Special Region of Yogyakarta (DI Yogyakarta) has not changed compared to the previous day, just like the price developments in the last week.

Compared to the price 30 days ago, the daily price of Medium I quality rice in traditional markets has remained unchanged from the previously recorded Rp14,65 thousand.

Meanwhile, the daily price of Medium I quality rice in traditional markets in DI Yogyakarta over the last three months has decreased by 0.68%. According to historical food price records on the PIHPS price panel, the daily price of Medium I quality rice in traditional markets in DI Yogyakarta was traded at Rp14,75 thousand.

The record increase in the daily price of Medium I quality rice in traditional markets in this province was previously recorded in November 2022 with an increase of 6.52%, and the lowest decrease was recorded in November 2022 with a decrease of -6.12%.

According to PIHPS monitoring, the price of nine staple foods (sembako) today in DI Yogyakarta shows that five commodities have decreased and 14 others have increased. The sembako with decreased prices are Bird's Eye Chili, Red Bird's Eye Chili, Granulated Sugar, Premium Quality Granulated Sugar, and Green Bird's Eye Chili.
