Food Prices Today, January 15, in West Sumatra: Red Chili Up, Onions Down

Prices of several food commodities in West Sumatra today were observed to decrease compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the Ministry of Trade's Basic Needs Market Monitoring System (SP2KP Kemendag) on Thursday (January 15, 2026) at 13:53 WIB, out of 16 commodities, 1 commodity increased and 2 commodities decreased.

The only commodity with an increased price was curly red chili.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as shallots and red cayenne pepper decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

The price of curly red chili increased the most by Rp37 (0.09%) to Rp39,481 per kg. The price of shallots decreased the most by Rp1,028 (2.72%) to Rp36,833 per kg.
