Jakarta, DKI Region Food Prices Today: Onion Prices Up, Chili Prices Down

The prices of several food commodities in DKI Jakarta today are observed to be lower than yesterday's.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Friday (19/4/2024) at 13.34 WIB, out of 19 commodities, 6 commodities increased in price and 10 commodities decreased.

Commodities that increased in price include mackerel, shallots, premium rice, skipjack tuna, and bulk wheat flour.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as shallots, granulated sugar, packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), chicken eggs, and simple packaged cooking oil decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Mackerel prices saw the highest increase, jumping Rp2,210 (6.17%) to Rp38,010 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of red chilies saw the lowest decrease, dropping Rp5,210 (10.07%) to Rp46,510 per kg.

6. Milkfish: Rp39,170 per kg (down 0.33%)
7. Skipjack Tuna: Rp38,030 per kg (up 3.45%)
8. Chicken Meat: Rp38,010 per kg (down 2.01%)
9. Mackerel: Rp38,010 per kg (up 6.17%)
10. Chicken Eggs: Rp28,320 per kg (down 2.98%)
