Food Prices in Jakarta, Monday (April 29th): What's the Price of Beef?

The prices of several food commodities in DKI Jakarta today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on the food price panel data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) on Monday (29/4/2024) at 14.25 WIB, out of 19 commodities, 4 commodities increased and 4 commodities decreased in price.

The commodities that increased in price are chicken eggs, red chilies, chicken meat, and granulated sugar.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as skipjack tuna, shallots, milkfish, and red chilies decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

The price of red chilies increased the most, jumping by Rp2,380 (4.75%) to Rp52,490 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of shallots decreased the least, dropping by Rp5,130 (7.01%) to Rp68,100 per kg.
