Current Food Prices in DKI Jakarta: Prices of Chilies, Eggs, and Sugar Rise

The prices of several food commodities in DKI Jakarta today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Friday (13/12/2024) at 15.14 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 11 commodities increased and 7 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include mackerel, red chilies, bulk cooking oil, granulated sugar, and premium rice.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as broiler chicken, milkfish, iodized fine salt, skipjack tuna, and pure beef decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red chilies saw the highest price increase, up by Rp3,870 (9.0%) to Rp46,890 per kg. Iodized fine salt experienced the largest price decrease, down by Rp310 (2.59%) to Rp11,640 per kg.
