Banten Region Food Prices Saturday (28/9): Egg, Onion, and Sugar Prices Down

Food prices in Banten today are observed to be lower than yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Saturday (28/9/2024) at 11:25 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 6 commodities increased and 15 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price are farmer-level corn, red chilies, premium rice, fine iodized salt, and SPHP rice.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as skipjack tuna, shallots, garlic bulbs, bulk cooking oil, and bulk wheat flour decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Farmer-level corn prices saw the highest increase of Rp540 (7.28%) to Rp7,960 per kg. Skipjack tuna prices saw the largest decrease of Rp3,030 (8.95%) to Rp30,830 per kg.
