Food Prices Thursday (September 12th) Yogyakarta Special Region: Rice and Chicken Prices Increase

The prices of several food commodities in Yogyakarta Special Region today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) price panel on Thursday (12/9/2024) at 14.25 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 9 commodities increased and 5 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include bulk cooking oil, Indian mackerel, garlic bulbs, SPHP rice, and simple packaged cooking oil.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as shallots, skipjack tuna, red chilies, farmer-level corn, and red chilies decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

The price of broiler chicken increased the most, by Rp570 (1.75%) to Rp33,120 per kg. The price of red chilies decreased the most, by Rp1,470 (7.78%) to Rp17,420 per kg.
