Indonesia's Current Food Prices: Prices of Salt, Onions, and Rice Fall

Prices of several food commodities in Indonesia today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Sunday (27/10/2024) at 08.06 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 4 commodities increased and 17 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price are bulk cooking oil, mackerel fish, dry soybean (import), and simple packaged cooking oil.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as chicken eggs, shallots, garlic bulbs, red chilies, and pure beef have decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Mackerel fish experienced the highest price increase of Rp960 (2.58%) to Rp38,240 per kg. Red chilies saw the sharpest price drop of Rp2,680 (8.9%) to Rp27,420 per kg.
