Latest Food Prices in Jakarta: Chicken Prices Up, Chili Prices Down

The prices of several food commodities in DKI Jakarta today are observed to be higher than yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Thursday (8/8/2024) at 12:09 WIB, out of 19 commodities, 11 commodities increased in price and 6 commodities decreased.

Commodities that increased in price include bulk cooking oil, garlic bulbs, premium rice, shallots, and red chilies.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as bulk wheat flour, mackerel, red chilies, pure beef, and iodized fine salt decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

The price of broiler chicken increased the most, by Rp2,800 (8.17%) to Rp37,060 per kg. The price of red chilies decreased the most, by Rp8,700 (10.25%) to Rp76,160 per kg.

5. Milkfish: Rp40,790 per kg (up 2.23%)
6. Broiler Chicken: Rp37,060 per kg (up 8.17%)
7. Skipjack Tuna: Rp35,450 per kg (down 1.06%)
8. Mackerel: Rp34,700 per kg (down 5.45%)
9. Shallots: Rp34,600 per kg (up 6.49%)
10. Chicken Eggs: Rp28,570 per kg (up 2.07%)
