West Java Food Price Update Today: Cooking Oil Prices Up, Chili Prices Down (Thursday, January 4, 2024)

Food prices in West Java today are observed to be higher than yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) price panel on Thursday (4/1/2024) at 09.14 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 10 commodities increased and 10 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include simple packaged cooking oil, dry soybean (import), medium rice, bulk wheat flour, and farmer-level corn.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as red chili peppers, curly red chilies, chicken eggs, shallots, and granulated sugar decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Dry soybean (import) experienced the highest price increase of Rp920 (7.34%) to Rp13,450 per kg. Red chili peppers saw the lowest price decrease of Rp7,690 (9.43%) to Rp73,850 per kg.

9. Chicken Meat: Rp33,800 per kg (down 2.57%)
