Prices of Branded Packaged Cooking Oil in These 10 Provinces Are the Highest (Tuesday, July 9, 2024)

The National Strategic Food Price Information Center recorded the average daily price of branded packaged cooking oil (1 kg) in modern markets across several provinces at Rp 21,500 per kg, as of Tuesday, July 9, 2024. Overall, the average this week decreased compared to last week's average of Rp 21,690 per kg.

The daily price of branded packaged cooking oil (1 kg) in modern markets in Gorontalo was the most expensive in Indonesia, with a selling price of Rp 26,100 per kg. Compared to a month ago, the price of branded packaged cooking oil in this province is higher. Previously, it was recorded at Rp 18,000 per kg.

Meanwhile, in modern markets in South Sulawesi, the price of branded packaged cooking oil was sold at Rp 25,600 per kg, making it the second most expensive in the country.

Then, in third place, the price of branded packaged cooking oil in South Sumatra was Rp 25,200 per kg, Papua Rp 24,350 per kg, and West Sulawesi Rp 24,250 per kg.

Meanwhile, there are 19 provinces with branded packaged cooking oil sales below the national average. The three provinces with the lowest selling prices of branded packaged cooking oil are Riau Islands, South Kalimantan, and Bangka Belitung Islands.
