Latest Food Prices in Aceh: Salt Prices Up, Red Chili Prices Down

Prices of several food commodities in Aceh today were observed to decrease compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Friday (August 15, 2025) at 08:34 AM WIB, out of 24 commodities, 8 increased and 15 decreased.

Commodities with increased prices include SPHP rice, premium rice, medium rice, broiler eggs, and consumption salt.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as milkfish, red cayenne pepper, large red chili, red onion, and packaged cooking oil decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Consumption salt commodity jumped the highest by Rp1,021 (6.82%) to Rp16,000 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of large red chili dropped the deepest by Rp36,000 (100.0%) to Rp0 per kg.
