Daily Price of Green Chili Peppers in Traditional Markets, March 2024-2025

The latest information from the National Strategic Food Price Information Center panel shows that the daily price of green chilies in traditional markets in East Java Province is recorded at Rp39,200. This price is down Rp700 compared to the previous day.

Over the past month, the daily price of green chilies in traditional markets has increased from Rp38,850.

Meanwhile, the daily price of green chilies in traditional markets in East Java over the past three months has increased by 88.01% from the previous price of Rp20,850.

The record high for the daily price of green chilies in traditional markets in this province was previously recorded in November 2021 with an increase of 36.27%, and the lowest decrease was recorded in July 2022 with a decrease of -25.55%.

According to PIHPS monitoring, the prices of nine basic commodities (sembako) today in East Java show 12 commodities decreased and 18 others increased. The basic commodities with decreased prices are Chicken Eggs, Medium-Sized Red Onions, Garlic, Red Onions, Medium-Sized Garlic, Fresh Chicken Eggs, Premium Quality Sugar, Local Sugar, Curly Red Chilies, Red Chilies, Sugar, and Large Red Chilies.

The following are the prices of nine basic commodities monitored by PIHPS today compared to the price movements over the past month in East Java Province:
