Latest Food Prices in Bengkulu Region: Chicken Price Up, Chili Price Down (Sunday, December 31, 2023)

The prices of several food commodities in Bengkulu today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Sunday (31/12/2023) at 12:47 WIB, out of 18 commodities, 10 commodities increased and 7 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include iodized fine salt, simple packaged cooking oil, packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), pure beef, and broiler chicken.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as red chili peppers, bulk wheat flour, curly red chilies, premium rice, and dry soybean (import) decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

The price of mackerel fish saw the highest increase, jumping Rp4,310 (14.37%) to Rp34,310 per kg. The price of curly red chilies saw the lowest decrease, dropping Rp2,470 (4.88%) to Rp48,100 per kg.

6. Broiler Chicken: Rp34,520 per kg (up 3.66%)
7. Mackerel Fish: Rp34,310 per kg (up 14.37%)
8. Chicken Eggs: Rp25,740 per kg (up 1.02%)
9. Skipjack Tuna: Rp24,280 per kg (up 8.54%)
