Indonesian Rupiah Weakens to Rp 15,390 per US Dollar (Wednesday, November 29, 2023)

As of 10:25 WIB this morning, the rupiah exchange rate in the spot market is traded at Rp 15,390 per US dollar on Wednesday, November 29, 2023. This exchange rate weakened by 0.24% compared to the previous day's closing price of Rp 15,352.50 per US dollar. For daily exchange rate movements, the rupiah is expected to be in the range of Rp 15,404.80 - Rp 15,558.50 per US dollar.

According to investing.com, the rupiah exchange rate in the spot market has increased by 1.16% in a week. Compared to the previous 30 days, the rupiah exchange rate in the spot market has strengthened by 3.3%.

However, for the one-year data range, the rupiah exchange rate in the spot market has actually decreased (strengthened). In the last year, the previous highest record reached Rp 15,935 per US dollar.

This morning, according to several major currencies monitored by Bank Indonesia, the South Korean won strengthened by 5.86 points (-0.45%) to KRW 1,294.94 per US dollar, the Japanese yen strengthened by 1.38 points (-0.93%), the Singapore dollar strengthened by 0.39 points (-0.29%), the euro weakened (+0.03%), and the Chinese yuan strengthened by 0.02 points (-0.28%).
