State Revenue Reaches Rp 1,840.7 Trillion in 2022

State revenue is targeted at Rp 1,840.7 trillion in the 2022 State Budget (RAPBN). This target is a 6.05% increase compared to the 2021 APBN outlook of Rp 1,735.7 trillion.

However, this target has not yet returned to its pre-COVID-19 pandemic level. This is because the economic sector is not expected to have fully recovered, there are permanent fiscal incentives, and a decrease in the tax revenue base due to the pandemic.

Before the corona pandemic, state revenue showed an upward trend. In 2018, for example, state revenue increased by 16.64% from Rp 1,666.4 trillion to Rp 1,943.7 trillion. State revenue also increased slightly by 0.87% to Rp 1,960.6 trillion in 2019.

This increase did not continue when the corona pandemic hit in 2020. State revenue actually decreased by 15.95% to Rp 1,647.8 trillion.

The target for state revenue next year includes tax revenue of Rp 1,506.9 trillion. This figure is an increase from the 2021 APBN outlook of Rp 1,375.8 trillion.

Meanwhile, the target for Non-Tax State Revenue (PNBP) has decreased from Rp 357.2 trillion in the 2021 APBN outlook to Rp 333.2 trillion in the 2022 RAPBN. The target for grant revenue has also decreased from Rp 2.7 trillion in the 2021 APBN outlook to Rp 600 billion next year.
