Latest Food Prices in Yogyakarta Special Region: Chili Prices Up, Salt Prices Down

The prices of several food commodities in Yogyakarta, D.I. today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Saturday (21/9/2024) at 10:36 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 8 commodities increased and 11 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include chicken eggs, red chilies, granulated sugar, skipjack tuna, and dry soybeans (import).

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as bulk cooking oil, chicken meat, garlic bulbs, mackerel, and shallots decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

The price of milkfish increased the most by Rp2,230 (5.85%) to Rp40,330 per kg. The price of iodized fine salt decreased the most by Rp330 (2.83%) to Rp11,340 per kg.
