Jakarta, DKI Jakarta Food Prices on Monday (October 28th): Prices of Chilies, Rice, and Chicken Drop

The prices of several food commodities in DKI Jakarta today are observed to be lower than yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Monday, October 28, 2024, at 10:15 WIB, out of 18 commodities, 6 commodities increased in price and 12 commodities decreased.

Commodities that increased in price include chicken eggs, red chilies, mackerel, granulated sugar, and bulk cooking oil.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as milkfish, shallots, premium rice, curly red chilies, and broiler chicken decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red chilies saw the highest price increase, up by Rp6,360 (13.08%) to Rp55,000 per kg. Broiler chicken experienced the largest price drop, down Rp10,230 (26.76%) to Rp28,000 per kg.

1. Pure Beef: Rp140,000 per kg (up 3.01%)
2. Red Chilies: Rp55,000 per kg (up 13.08%)
3. Shallot Bulbs: Rp40,000 per kg (down 3.66%)
4. Shallots: Rp35,000 per kg (down 1.6%)
5. Mackerel: Rp35,000 per kg (up 1.45%)
6. Milkfish: Rp32,000 per kg (down 20.2%)
7. Curly Red Chilies: Rp30,000 per kg (down 7.09%)
8. Skipjack Tuna: Rp30,000 per kg (down 11.03%)
9. Chicken Eggs: Rp28,000 per kg (up 0.86%)
