Today's Food Prices in Indonesia March 11: Oil, Onion and Red Chili Prices Drop

Prices of several food commodities in Indonesia today were observed to decrease compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the Ministry of Trade's Basic Needs Market Monitoring System (SP2KP Kemendag) on Wednesday (March 11, 2026) at 14:23 WIB, out of 16 commodities, 7 commodities increased and 9 commodities decreased.

Commodities that experienced price increases are bulk palm cooking oil, broiler chicken meat, bulk granulated sugar, premium packaged palm cooking oil, and shallots.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as wheat flour, broiler eggs, premium rice, large red chili, and beef hindquarter decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Curly red chili commodity jumped the highest by Rp455 (1.21%) to Rp38,214 per kg. Meanwhile, large red chili price dropped the deepest by Rp2,363 (5.64%) to Rp39,564 per kg.

2. Red Bird's Eye Chili: Rp77,984 per kg (up 0.7%)
3. Broiler Chicken Meat: Rp40,208 per kg (up 0.22%)
4. Shallots: Rp39,863 per kg (up 0.02%)
5. Large Red Chili: Rp39,564 per kg (down 5.64%)
6. Curly Red Chili: Rp38,214 per kg (up 1.21%)
7. Honan Garlic: Rp36,293 per kg (down 0.15%)
8. Broiler Eggs: Rp30,866 per kg (down 0.01%)
9. Premium Packaged Palm Cooking Oil: Rp21,153 per liter (up 0.02%)
10. Bulk Palm Cooking Oil: Rp18,464 per liter (up 0.78%)
11. Bulk Granulated Sugar: Rp17,908 per kg (up 0.04%)
12. Minyakita: Rp15,879 per liter (down 0.04%)
13. Premium Rice: Rp15,338 per kg (down 0.03%)
